American Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology:

  • In 2005, Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology using a new indicator called EPF (Environmental Protection Factor) conducted a test in 5 steps to measure the antioxidant abilities of Idebenone.
  • Women of the age 30-65, who tried Idebenone twice a day for 6 weeks, all report their dry, rough skin became much smoother, suppler and well moisturized.
  • At the end of this test Idebenone reached 95 EPF points of 100 (i.e. the highest rating of all antioxidants tested) - followed Vitamin C, Vitamin E, CoQ10, Kinetin, and Alpha-Lipoic Acid.
